Most people don't need to clean more. They just need a plan. When you know what to do and when, the house stays clean and you stop feeling behind.
Every day (about 15 minutes)
- Wash dishes or run the dishwasher.
- Wipe kitchen counters and the stovetop.
- Put things back where they go.
- Quick sweep of the kitchen floor.
Every week
- Vacuum rugs and floors.
- Mop hard floors.
- Clean toilets, sinks, and showers.
- Change bed sheets.
- Dust tables, shelves, and TV stands.
- Take out all the trash and recycling.
Every month
- Wipe baseboards and light switches.
- Clean inside the microwave.
- Vacuum couch cushions.
- Dust ceiling fans and vents.
- Clean out the fridge.
Every 3 to 6 months
- Clean inside the oven.
- Wash windows and blinds.
- Flip or rotate your mattress.
- Wash pillows and comforters.
Make it easier
Clean from top to bottom so dust falls onto floors you haven't vacuumed yet. Keep a small basket of supplies on each floor of your home. And if the weekly list is too much, that's the part we take off your plate.
